History

Alexa’s story began in 2022, partnering with an influencer brand collaborating with Travel South Dakota and Explore Minnesota to capture mobile photography for statewide and regional chambers of commerce and tourism bureaus across South Dakota, Minnesota, and beyond.

In 2023, Alexa took on a full organizational remodel project as Executive Director with the Aberdeen Downtown Association. As that work gained momentum and statewide recognition, requests for small business content creation and consulting quickly followed from regional businesses and organizations.

In early 2026, past content clients, small businesses, and local nonprofits would not stop knocking at the door for Alexa’s creative and strategic directive. It didn’t take long to realize that this was the right path to take- One forged by authentic partnerships, small business heroes, and friends.

Alexa’s leadership and creative direction contributed to notable recognition, including 605 Magazine’s “Best Weekend Getaway” award in 2024, along with two years of nominations for the “4 Under 40” recognition from the Aberdeen Area Chamber of Commerce.
